Verry good app (light and all..) but it seem, it calculate wrong the memory for maverick (always under the real number for all the memory type) and it will be a good thing to add the compressed memory ;)

I installed this on both my iMac with 16GB of RAM and my MacBook Pro with 8MB. On the iMac it works better than any app I’ve used as it doesn’t cause the computer to freeze when it’s purging, like other memory apps I’ve tried. On my MacBook it frequently crashes, I presume because with 8MB vs 16MB it is working a lot harder. I wouldn’t recommend it for a 4MB machine.

Hi I had installed MemoryClean app but I noticed that CPU usage went to the roof. When I checked Activity Monitor that app was consuming a lot of resources. Obvioulsy I deleted it. I found this great App that really cleans the memory and consumes practically nothing of your CPU/Memory. My two cents

Clean, simple, intuitive, easy to read. I’ve tried several and this is the best of the bunch. My one wish would be to be able to select a vertical menu bar icon.

It runs. It shows the menu bar icons and such. It updates. System shows now additional load or slow-down thus far. Freeing memory takes longer than some other apps, but it works properly in Yosemite... unlike some other apps Ive tried. I would give 5 stars for more menubar icon options - vertical bar, pie chart, memory usage history graph, etc. But in that it does exactly what you see in the description of the app, it certainly deserves its four stars. If we could do half stars, I would rate it 4.5.

I’ve downloaded a lot of OS X free memory apps. When I got my latest mac, I decided to try this one out and it works fantastic. It has a setting that if your memory gets to a certain low level, it will automatically release the memory. So far I haven’t had any issues with my mac. (Which happens a lot on account of Evernote and Chrome). Great job!

Easily see RAM status and clear up with one click. A great improvement would be automatic memory cleaning triggered by user determined lower limit.

Upgraded my 2010 Mac Pro with more memory and this app does an excellent job of managing the new configuration.

Memory Purge helps when I’m gaming to monitor my RAM and it also lets me know when to clear it out. It has also helped to identify a memory leak on my Mac!

I have an early 2009 (older) iMac that I use for Photoshop and web design (plus everything else). MemoryPurge works really well to free up RAM and makes my computer seem “new to me” again. Thank you!

Excellent at managing memory to get optimal use, and is fast ! The Ap does not interfere with the tasks you are doing. However often when I try to open “Significant Usage” it won’t open. When it does open I would like to be able to close those programs from the Ap. This could be my old Mac not cooperating? I have only used the Free Version and it has lived up to its claims and has made things better, not worse like some Aps claiming to clean MACs ! I will probably upgrade to the advanced version. For 2 bucks - yeah !
